Who is responsible
Different Minds is operated by Different Minds Group Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16402358. Registered office: 60 Tottenham Court Road, Suite 5878a, Fitzrovia, London, W1T 2EW, United Kingdom. The company is the controller of personal information collected through this website. Information you choose to share
If you contact us, we use the name, email address and message you provide to respond and manage your enquiry. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we use your email address, any optional preferences and the record of your consent to manage your subscription.
Please do not send diagnoses, medical records, sensitive information about children or other information that is not needed for your enquiry. Our newsletter is intended for adults.
Why we use information
We use consent to send the newsletter and related Different Minds book and resource news. You can withdraw that consent at any time. We use our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and operating a secure website for ordinary correspondence and essential administration. Where an enquiry concerns a potential purchase, we may also process information to take steps at your request before a contract.
Service providers
Squarespace hosts this website and processes website form submissions and newsletter contact records. Contact enquiries are also delivered to our Google-hosted email account. Google reCAPTCHA helps protect forms against spam. These providers process the information needed to deliver their services, which can include device and technical information. We do not sell your personal information.
Our service providers may process information outside the UK. Their applicable terms explain the transfer mechanisms and safeguards used. See Squarespace’s privacy notice and Google’s privacy notice. You can contact us for information about the safeguards applying to your data.
How long information is kept
We keep information only while it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, or to meet legal obligations. Newsletter records are kept while you subscribe. If you unsubscribe, a minimal suppression record may be retained to prevent further marketing. Enquiry records are reviewed and deleted when no longer needed.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your information, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to its use. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact us to make a request.
You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
