Different Minds / Education
Make sense of it.
Then put it to work.
Learning becomes more meaningful when you can see it, try it and connect it to the world around you.
Different Minds develops practical learning across the lifespan. Children and young people aged 4–17 are a major focus, alongside adults building skills for everyday life and work. We welcome different starting points, interests and ways of thinking.
Understand → Do → Explain → Apply → Reflect
Our approach turns a new idea into something a learner can explore and use. Move at a comfortable pace. Revisit a step whenever it helps.
01 / Understand
Start with a clear explanation. Connect new terminology to something familiar.
02 / Do
Try a small, purposeful activity. Observe, build, draw, measure or investigate.
03 / Explain
Show what you understand in your own words, a picture or a demonstration.
04 / Apply
Use the idea in a new situation. What changes? What stays the same?
05 / Reflect
Notice what worked, what surprised you and what you would try next.
Clear ideas. Real-life connections.
Our resources are concept-led and informed by curriculum expectations. We use original explanations and activities rather than reproducing an exam board’s course structure.
We aim for clear instructions, manageable steps and flexible ways to respond. No single format suits every learner: choice and thoughtful adaptation matter.
